Speech-Language Pathologist (Subcontract)

HAEPI SLP Therapy Services is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (Neurodiversity-Affirming) to join our dedicated and growing team!

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children with diverse needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals.
  • Collaborate closely with parents/caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic and effective care.
  • Provide consultations and resources to families to support communication development at home and in community settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming approach to care.

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Strong understanding of paediatric speech and language development and rehabilitation services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for children with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, and team members.
  • Willingness to travel to client homes and community settings; reliable transportation is required.
  • Creativity and flexibility to provide service in a variety of settings (we do not have a physical location - all services are provided within client homes or community settings)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English/French is considered an asset.

Occupational Therapist (Subcontract)

HAEPI SLP Therapy Services is currently seeking a (neurodiversity-affirming) Occupational Therapist (Paediatric) to join our growing team of dedicated speech-language professionals. 

​Primary responsibilities include assessment, development and monitoring of treatment programs, consultation with parents/caregivers and other service providers, and assistance with resource needs. 

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Demonstrated understanding of rehabilitation services within the paediatric service sector
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the areas of assessment, treatment planning, interventions and evaluation
  • Proven ability to develop effective relationships with clients and members of an interdisciplinary (and neurodiversity-affirming!) client care team
  • Willing and able to travel to various work locations and provide own reliable transportation
  • Creativity and flexibility to provide service in a variety of settings (we do not have a physical location - all services are provided within client homes or community settings)​
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with Indigenous peoples and communities is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism English/French is considered an asset
